First of all after reading most of the reviews its quite apparent that people need to come to their own conculsions about whats inspiring to them music wise while working out. I didnt buy the CD I actually picked it up at the library and burned a copy of it. I love the 1st cd the music really inspires me to get on my treadmill and do the 30 min walk. I actually look forward to hearing the music believe it or not. It doesnt sound like elevator music to me but then maybe because Im focused on my workout which makes the time go by super fast. I havent yet listened to the 2nd CD because I love the 1st cd's music but eventually I will make my way to it...If most of you have mp3 players, etc then why even bother to pick up any cd's? find some music that will insire you to get off your behind!

In the bestseller, YOU: ON A DIET, Drs. Roizen and Oz stressed
that the key for a weight-loss plan is a daily 30-minute walk . . . a
follow-up CD, YOU: ON A WALK, makes this easy to do.

They do so by including music for two separate walks, one slower
and one faster--both designed to keep you moving at a pace
that you can handle comfortably . . . in addition, they include
such pointers as the following:

* Stretch after every walk.

* Share your successes with a partner.

* Keep in mind that every 5-10 years, you need to eat less calories
than you did previously.

This would be a worthwhile purchase for any beginning dieter and/or
walker . . . however, that said, I do wish the music was more a bit
more interesting . . . it didn't really inspire me; rather, it felt like I
was stuck in an elevator.

For some unknown reason I thought I was purchasing a BOOK similar to those created by these two doctors only about WALKING. It came & was a CD (two of them actually), so wasn't sure I'd want it. I tried the easy walk on CD 1 & liked it a LOT. I tried the CD 2 & liked that too. Now I use it for my first 30 minutes (goes by real fast) then on to bigger & better speeds. GREAT for first time walkers or older folks.
