I cannot possibly recommend this highly enough, I wish I could give it 10 stars! I have a 4.5 year old son and 2 and 3 year old daughters. My son is absolutely enthralled by this series. The girls are interested, but still a bit too young for it. My son is currently sitting in the living room listening to it, which to my delight, he prefers over watching TV! The stories are both gripping and educational. The books have piqued his interest in many new subjects. We've quickly gone through the first 30 books! I'll be sad when it ends, though I anticipate we'll just start over, and listen to these several times over.

This would have been a 5 star had the books been each on an individual cd instead of starting wherever the last story ended. My children still love the stories, it just makes it a little difficult for the one operating the cd's.

My kids are five and six and we love listening to these books on the way home from school every day. I intend to purchase the whole collection. The author herself reads the stories and we're always transported to another world.

My daughter loves listening to Magic Tree House in the car. She even listened to the interview with the author. I like the fact that these stories have a foundation of truth. I highly recommend the books and CDs.

Our Grandchildren love the series. Our 8 year old reads the books and our 4 year old goes to bed at night listening to her favorites on CD. We were spoiled, I guess, when Wendy's had a promo of 4 different books. Each had their own CD. We thought it was great to get more of these audiobooks from Amazon, until they arrived and 8 books were condensed into 5 CDs. Very child unfriendly. I guess we will be making our own CDs as well. I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. Books are great, just didn't think we would have technical problems.
