| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Combining eco-conscienceness with function, the Patagonia Book Case for 2nd Generation Kindle provides great protection in a 100% recycled polyester shell. The screen can be viewed while in the water-resistant case, so you can read and protect at the same time. A poly-mesh handle makes carrying a breeze, and the plastic zipper means that you won't experience metal-interference during wireless access.

Kindle case review July 29, 2010 Joseph Ventre Good peroduct. Seems sturdy and protects the KKnifdle well. Easy to use and provides easy access to Kindle controls.
Loved the verstility July 29, 2010 Boop I have one of the older Kindles. I was afraid it wouldn't fit. No problem. It fits and is a really convenient and protective way to store my Kindle. I highly recommend it.
Not as good as expected July 28, 2010 PDK I expected a much better product for the money. The zipper is not high quality; it doesn't glide well and gets caught up on the outside fabric. The case holds the Kindle by containing it in four corners with additional fabric and that's it. In other words, it doesn't secure it at all so you have to be careful if you want to read your Kindle without taking it out of the case. On the positive side, you can carry your charger in the mesh pocket on the other side without adding too much bulk.
Geoffreya July 27, 2010 Geoffreya This is a good product. It has corner pockets to keep the Kindle in the case but they are not effective. Compared with some others, the unit is a bit bulky but I like it and it is up to the Patagonia brand in all material respects.
DO NOT BUY THIS July 26, 2010 Soggy I bought this case in December 2009 when I got my Kindle. I liked the looks of it and the fact that it closed completely. The zipper worked for about 2 months, then began to stick. I dealt with it knowing I could not return a product Ive used for 2 months. Last week (7 months later) the zipper stuck so badly that I was afraid I may not get the damn cover off. I struggled with it on Saturday as I sat in the pedicure chair at the nail salon. Finally, with much mustered up strength I opened it. The zipper broke (of course) and my Kindle went flying into the pedicure water. Luckily I grabbed it quickly. At home I took the entire Kindle apart and let it dry. After one day of drying, and 12 hours of charging it, my Kindle recovered. If it weren't for that damn Patagonia cover, I would have found a better way to spend my Sunday afternoon...
