When I received this case I really wanted to like it. I put my beloved Kindle in it but I just didn't like the way it looked. The leather was just too shiney,and I didn't like the way it fit my Kindle, so I returned it and bought a JAVOedge Red Leather Croc case, whith I love.

The case provides great protection for the Kindle 2. It is just the right size, but does add some weight that can be undesirable if you got the Kindle for its light weight feature. My particular case, unfortunately, has a sewing error on the lower right corner. It still holds the Kindle in place, but is very obvious. Overall, however, I would recommend the case as a great alternative to the original case sold by Amazon. Especially since the original case was known to cause cracks in the Kindle chassis. This one is not only safer, but provides a very discreet way of transporting your Kindle. It looks just like a notebook!
