Compare PRS 505 and PRS 600 - you will see the difference.
I had to sell the PRS 600, because its screen is disgusting - it reflects light, doesn't look like paper at all.
The features like notes, painting, dictionary I found useless.

I believed, well if I am getting electronics it is smart to make sure they are protected and kept safe, electronics are usually delicate and expensive, but is it worth it to put out so much more money for a cover? However, I am not one to cheap out for a cloth knockoff that might fall apart in a few months, I know better so I purchased this case with the Sony Ebook digital reader touch. This case is great and although it might seem like "Oh wow..a case." Its actually worth its value and more because the sturdy leather keeps it safe and is much like an upgrade to the Ebook reader, it is like a permanent sleeve and makes it feel like you are really holding a book, it even looks like a book sitting on your desk when you close it. A nifty little magnet inside keeps it open or shut securely and my boyfriend takes it from home to work and school almost everyday and the case itself hasn't shown and signs of being dirty or tattered.

The reader cover works well but I was surprised to find out that it was not genuine leather. Best Buy and Sony describes the cover as leather and I regretfully assumed this was the case. My amazon seller made no such claim so this is a case of buyer beware. I am still trying to ascertain if Sony does indeed make a leather case or if all of their covers are faux-leather.

Very good cover. Fills like smth expensive (and it is for 30$). It looks durable. The only con I see - you can't flip the front "page" of cover to back of the reader to hold it as you can hold a magazine or newspaper.
Will buy it again.

I brought this cover for my Prs-600 and it fits really well and is compact. I actually dropped my book once and because the cover was on it, it protected my book. Boy was I lucky. Get this cover. It is totally worth it.
