Product Description Grantwood Technology presents the SimpleCase for the Kindle 2 (6" Screen Design). The SimpleCase features a sturdy outer cover, that is form fitted for the Kindle 2 and soft liner inside to protect the Kindle 2 from scratches and daily wear.
Every detail of the SimpleCase was designed specifically for the Kindle 2. We included a double zipper that completely opens, allowing the case to be read with the front folded behind the back.
We use 2 zippers so you can charge the Kindle with just the bottom open, and leaving access to the power, but keeping the case securely closed.
Instead of using the a metal clip to attach the Kindle 2 to the case, we use thick elastic corners, positioned to allow complete access to the buttons on the Kindle 2 and to hold it securely in place.
Inside there are 2 slim pockets designed to hold IDs, hotel keys, money, tickets, etc. The SimpleCase for the Kindle 2 is a stylish, compact case for your favorite ebook reader, protecting it from scratches and daily wear. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied we will guarantee a replacement of your purchase or a refund. We stand by the our products and look forward to you becoming another happy customer.

Kindle cover August 21, 2010 souris There is unfortunately no room to put the usb cord. I traded this book cover for another one who permitted to do so.
Great product August 20, 2010 Nicole I had originally wanted a different cover, but settled for this one when the price went up on the other one. I am so glad I did. It's easy to hold with one hand and not too heavy. The pocket on the inside cover is a nice touch, but would be better if it closed securely. The outside is sleek and feels nice to the touch. The Kindle 2 fits securely in the corner holders, and the covers are lined with a soft velvet/felt material. I would recommend this product to anybody looking for a quality cover at a reasonable price.
Works very well August 10, 2010 AllAround (Oregon) I purchased this cover for my mother's kindle. I wanted something durable, easy to use and that would protect the kindle when she threw it in her purse. The zipper is sturdy, easy to open, allows the case to stay closed while she carries it around and the little pocket holds papers, book reviews she tears out of the paper, etc. The case did not smell or cause discoloration. Very good product!
Compact, lightweight, durable August 10, 2010 Kevin P. Schultz (Ashburn, VA USA) I love this case. It's compact, lightweight, and durable. I take my Kindle with me everywhere and my wife was saying I need a "man purse" to carry all my stuff. I think this case is much smaller and easier to handle than a man purse. :-)
I only have one complaint, and I don't know if it is more appropriate to direct it at the case or at the Kindle itself. The position of the power-switch on top of the Kindle is right where the upper left elastic goes that holds the Kindle into the case, so you have to push the elastic out of the way a little in order to flip the power switch. That's likely to wear out the elastic over time. Even so, I'm very pleased with this case.
Sturdy, attractive case protects well August 9, 2010 Kerrigan McCarthy (San Francisco) This case is sturdy, classy, simple, attractive and protective. The only "problem", as others have mentioned, is that you have to slide your fingertip under an elastic strap to turn it on or off. Very minor irritation, and the elegant simplicity and sturdiness of the case more than make up for it. I don't think I'd actually recommend that they change the design at all.
